Emirates Airline Expands A350 Service with Seven New Destinations

DUBAI – Emirates Airline (EK) has announced an exciting expansion of its A350 service network, adding seven new destinations as the airline continues to roll out its newly delivered aircraft featuring state-of-the-art cabin innovations. This strategic move enhances Emirates’ A350 coverage to include short and medium-haul routes across the Middle East/GCC, Europe, Africa, and for the first time, Southeast Asia.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, highlighted the significance of this expansion. “Our strategic A350 expansion across diverse geographies leverages the aircraft’s operational flexibility and efficiency,” Kazim stated. He emphasized that this initiative aims to provide more travelers with premium travel options and the chance to experience Emirates’ latest generation interiors, including Business Class and Premium Economy, now available in more cities than ever.

The introduction of the A350 into existing routes not only enhances customer experience but also strengthens Emirates’ competitive position in the airline market. “This addition of services allows Emirates to remain the airline of choice for discerning travelers seeking unique connectivity options and elevated onboard experiences,” Kazim added.

New Emirates A350 Destinations Include:

  • Tunis: Starting June 1, flights EK 747/748 will operate six times weekly (excluding Tuesdays).
  • Amman: Daily A350 service will launch on June 1 with flights EK 905/906.
  • Istanbul: Emirates’ A350 will commence daily operations on July 1, featuring flights EK 117/118.
  • Dammam: The aircraft makes its debut in Saudi Arabia on July 1, operating flights EK 827/828.
  • Ho Chi Minh City: Daily flights EK 364/365 will begin on August 1.
  • Baghdad: A350 service will be available three times weekly starting August 3 (Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday) on flights EK 941/943.
  • Oslo: The new route will commence on September 1 with daily flights EK 159/160.

Emirates plans to announce additional A350 destinations, including long-haul routes, in the coming months as more aircraft join its fleet.

Enhanced A350 Services to Existing Routes

In addition to the new destinations, Emirates will enhance its A350 operations by adding services to existing routes in Bahrain and Kuwait. Bahrain will see the addition of a third daily flight (EK 835/836) starting June 1, transitioning to almost exclusive A350 operations. Kuwait will also benefit from a second A350 service on the daily EK 857/858 route beginning October 1.

With the first A350 service to Bologna starting June 1—one month earlier than expected—Emirates is making strides in enhancing its global connectivity.

  • Business Class: 32 next-generation lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout with mini-bars.
  • Premium Economy: 21 spacious seats.
  • Economy Class: 259 seats designed for comfort with generous pitch.

Passengers will enjoy various technological innovations onboard, such as wireless charging in Business Class, electric window blinds, touchscreen call bell buttons integrated into the inflight entertainment system, and dual Bluetooth connectivity. The next-generation ICE system offers 4K and HDR resolution displays for an enhanced in-flight experience.
