American Airlines Introduces Exciting New Perk for Business-Class Travelers

FORT WORTH– American Airlines (AA) is enhancing its premium service by rolling out complimentary unisex pajamas for business-class travelers on select long-haul routes.

Starting in August 2025, this new comfort feature will be available on wide-body flights departing from key U.S. international hubs, including Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Philadelphia (PHL), Los Angeles (LAX), and New York–JFK (JFK).

Passengers heading to East Asia, India, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand from these airports will receive high-quality sleepwear created in partnership with Nest Bedding, a brand focused on sustainability, as reported by TPG.

American Airlines Introduces Pajamas for Business Class

The new pajama sets provided by American Airlines consist of a relaxed-fit shirt and jogger-style pants, available in two unisex sizes: small/medium and large/extra-large.

This collaboration with Nest Bedding emphasizes comfort and eco-consciousness, making long flights feel more enjoyable for passengers.

The service is exclusive to wide-body aircraft departing from four major international gateways: Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Philadelphia (PHL), Los Angeles (LAX), and New York–JFK (JFK).

These long-haul flights connect to various destinations in the Asia-Pacific, South Asia, and the Middle East—regions where rest and relaxation during travel are essential.

In addition to the new pajamas, American Airlines is set to reintroduce mattress toppers in business class later this summer, enhancing passenger comfort during flights that exceed ten hours.

The introduction of sleepwear and comfort-oriented features marks a notable shift in airline strategies following the pandemic.

In the past, many airlines curtailed premium amenities, but evolving expectations from travelers, especially in the luxury segment, have prompted a resurgence in such offerings.
