Korean Air Resumes World’s Longest 747 Passenger Flight
Korean Air will resume its Boeing 747-8i service on the Seoul to Atlanta route starting April 25, 2025, making it the world’s longest nonstop 747 flight. This service replaces the 777-300ER, increasing capacity from 277 to 368 seats and shifting economy representation from 82% to 85%. Initially operating twice weekly, it will shift to daily service during peak months. Additionally, the 747-8i will serve London Heathrow from July to October 2025.
