Emirates Introduces Six Additional Weekly Flights to Europe’s Busiest Airport

DUBAI- Emirates Airline (EK), recognized as the largest international airline globally, is set to boost its operations at London Heathrow (LHR) by adding six more weekly flights starting 26 October 2025.

This updated schedule will raise Emirates’ weekly flights to London Heathrow to 48, reflecting increasing demand and providing travelers with more options during the winter season and end-of-year rush.

Emirates’ New Flights to London

Currently offering six daily flights to London Heathrow (LHR), Emirates will roll out these new frequencies using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which is configured for three classes and accommodates over 350 passengers. The flagship Airbus A380 will continue to operate existing services.

The additional flights will be operational daily, except Fridays, during the winter season. This enhancement responds to the increased travel between Dubai (DXB) and London, offering travelers greater flexibility in their departure options.

Flight EK41 will take off from Dubai (DXB) at 13:40 on specified days and arrive at London Heathrow (LHR) at 17:40.

The return flight, EK42, operates from London at 22:35 on selected days, arriving in Dubai at 09:35 the following day.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays, EK42 departs at 21:20, reaching Dubai by 08:20 the next day. On Thursdays, EK41 leaves Dubai at 12:55, with arrival in London at 16:55, and EK42 returning at 21:20, arriving in Dubai at 08:20 the next day. All timings are local.

The new flight offerings are scheduled to link overnight departures from London Heathrow (LHR) to Dubai (DXB) with connections throughout Asia and Africa.

Key destinations such as Johannesburg, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta are now easier to reach.

Travelers arriving at London Heathrow will also enjoy improved schedules from cities like Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lahore, Malé, and important Middle Eastern hubs including Bahrain (BAH), Dammam (DMM), and Riyadh (RUH).

Expansion of UK Network

The added flights to Heathrow are a part of Emirates’ larger growth strategy in the UK, with plans to provide 146 weekly flights across the country by February 2026.

This expansion includes routes to London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), London Stansted (STN), and regional airports such as Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), Newcastle (NCL), Glasgow (GLA), and Edinburgh (EDI).

Moreover, Emirates has confirmed a fourth daily service to London Gatwick (LGW) starting 8 February 2026, flying with the new Airbus A350. Together, Emirates will offer 90 weekly flights to London’s three major airports early next year.
