Air India is planning to launch two new long-haul international flights from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru to Frankfurt and Melbourne, enhancing its global presence from South India’s largest airport. Bengaluru, known as India’s Silicon Valley, has a growing demand for international travel, evidenced by significant passenger volumes on existing routes. The Bengaluru-Frankfurt route saw around 117,000 travelers in 2023, while nearly 55,000 passengers traveled to Melbourne.
