Qatar Airways Unveils Formula 1-Inspired B777 Design by Swizz Beatz
Qatar Airways concluded the Qatar Grand Prix weekend from November 28-30, 2025, by unveiling a striking new Formula 1-themed aircraft livery. This special livery was created by Grammy Award-winning artist Swizz Beatz and adorns the airline’s Boeing 777, registered as A7-BEG. This winter, the aircraft is set to make appearances in key international cities.
As the recipient of the Skytrax World’s Best Airline award for an impressive ninth time in 2025, Qatar Airways aims to operate this uniquely designed plane on various routes, including London-Heathrow (LHR), Melbourne (MEL), New York’s JFK, and Tokyo Narita (NRT).
In its role as the Title Partner of Formula One, the airline expressed its congratulations to Max Verstappen, who clinched victory at the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix held at the Lusail International Circuit.
Ahead of the November Sprint race, a spectacular flypast captivated thousands of spectators at the circuit. Media representatives and invited guests enjoyed a preview of the new livery from inside the aircraft, which was equipped with high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, enabling live streaming capabilities while flying over the event.
The official unveiling of the livery took place at the Qatar Airways Hangar during an engaging launch event. Comedian Kevin Hart made a memorable entrance, showcasing his skills as a Formula 1 driver through exciting doughnuts. The event attracted renowned figures, including David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Rio Ferdinand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Swizz Beatz, and Novak Djokovic.
“This weekend, Qatar Airways merged innovation with passion by gathering eminent figures from the sports and arts sectors to provide an unparalleled community experience,” commented Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways.
He also noted the significant interest generated by the debut of their F1-themed livery. Remarkably, the flypast became the most tracked flight on Flightradar24 over a 24-hour span. Given the enthusiastic global response, Al-Meer confidently stated that this F1 design is poised to become one of the most iconic liveries in the history of aviation.
