Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti Unite for Exciting Bora Bora Codeshare

Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti have established a codeshare agreement aimed at enhancing travel to sought-after destinations within French Polynesia. This collaboration enables international travelers to book single tickets to Bora Bora Airport (BOB) and Rarotonga International Airport (RAR), streamlining the booking process.

This agreement, which was finalized on December 22, 2025, is set to begin for both reservations and travel from June 2, 2026.

Under the new arrangement, Air Tahiti Nui will utilize its TN code on select flights operated by Air Tahiti. This setup allows patrons to acquire a comprehensive ticket covering their entire journey, whether traveling from Europe or the United States to their island destination.

The codeshare will first encompass two routes: Bora Bora, which features six daily flights using ATR72 aircraft, and Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, with two weekly flights also operated by ATR72s. Notably, Air Tahiti Nui conducts its international flights exclusively with Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

“By integrating our networks, we strive to provide our customers with a seamless experience through the convenience of a single ticket to their final destination,” remarked Philippe Marie, the CEO of Air Tahiti Nui. “This collaboration marks a significant initial step in reinforcing our partnership with Air Tahiti, with plans to introduce new routes in the near future.”

Edouard Wong Fat, the CEO of Air Tahiti, expressed pride in this collaboration, highlighting the natural synergy between the two airlines. “We are delighted to see Air Tahiti flights operating under a codeshare agreement with Air Tahiti Nui,” he stated. “This partnership underscores the strong, natural connections between our two carriers.”

The airline operates a fleet that includes 10 ATR 72-600 and two ATR 42-600 aircraft, with plans to launch an all-business class service starting December 2026.

Currently, Air Tahiti offers both economy and premium class service, linking over 90% of the inhabited islands in French Polynesia across five archipelagos.
