Scoot Launches New Routes: Singapore to Vienna and Iloilo
Scoot Airlines Launches New Non-Stop Flights from Singapore to Vienna and Iloilo
Singaporean low-cost carrier Scoot Airlines has officially announced the addition of two exciting new non-stop services from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Starting from June 3, 2025, travelers can fly directly to Vienna International Airport (VIE) in Austria and Iloilo International Airport (ILO) in the Philippines. This strategic expansion not only enhances Scoot’s route network but also offers passengers more options for international travel.
New Non-Stop Flights to Vienna and Iloilo
Scoot’s new three-times-weekly flights to Vienna will be operated using the modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which accommodates 329 passengers across two cabin classes. The flight schedule is as follows:

- TR709: Depart Vienna at 11:25 local time, arriving in Singapore at 04:50 local time the following day.
In addition, the Singapore to Iloilo route will commence on April 14, 2025, utilizing Scoot’s Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, which seats 112 passengers. The schedule for Iloilo flights includes:

Optimizing Route Network
Scoot is not only adding these new destinations but is also adjusting its existing network. This includes the suspension of services to Berlin Airport (BER) and Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) in China. According to Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot, the airline is committed to optimizing aircraft deployment to better match capacity and demand.
“We remain dedicated to expanding our network and connecting travelers to new destinations around the world at a great value. As the only airline offering direct flights between Singapore and Vienna, we are thrilled to introduce this new service in June, just in time for the holidays,” said Thng.
Explore Iloilo City
Iloilo City, situated in the southern part of the Philippines in the Visayas region, is known for its rich cultural heritage, featuring Spanish colonial churches and historic homes. This makes it an ideal destination for travelers looking to explore the beauty of Southeast Asia. Cebu Pacific, another low-cost carrier, also operates flights between Iloilo City and Singapore, providing more options for travelers.
Conclusion
With these new non-stop flights to Vienna and Iloilo, Scoot Airlines is enhancing its commitment to providing affordable travel options for passengers.
