United Airlines Attendants Secure 40% Pay Raise in New Deal

Qatar Airways First to Install Starlink on A350 Jets
Qatar Airways is set to transform in-flight connectivity by installing Starlink technology on its Boeing 777 fleet and becoming the first airline to equip its Airbus A350 aircraft with the system. This initiative will enhance passenger experience with high-speed WiFi on over 6,000 flights, currently available on 80% of the Boeing 777 fleet. Starting in April, the complimentary Starlink service will expand to the A350, reinforcing Qatar Airways’ role as a leader in aviation technology. The airline aims to integrate Starlink seamlessly into its maintenance schedules, ensuring consistent connectivity on long-haul routes.
IndiGo Plans New MRO Facility at Bengaluru for A350 Arrival
IndiGo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangalore International Airport Ltd to establish a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Kempegowda International Airport, covering 31 acres. This facility will support IndiGo’s expanding fleet, particularly with the upcoming Airbus A350. Ton Dortmans from KLM has been appointed to lead these initiatives. The MRO aims to enhance operational efficiency and localize services as part of IndiGo’s strategy to expand its network. The airline has over 400 aircraft in operation and more than 900 on order, with plans for direct flights to Europe beginning in 2025.
