Saudia Unveils New Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Festive Livery
Saudia has introduced a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner adorned with a unique, celebratory design aimed at promoting tourism in Saudi Arabia.
On January 18, 2026, Saudia launched this aircraft featuring the slogan “Saudi, Welcome to Arabia,” in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority.
The livery on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registered as HZ-ARF, showcases the joyful face of a young boy alongside an Arabic decorative motif in an array of vibrant colors.
In addition, the tail and engines boast a rich purple hue, aligning with the branding that welcomes visitors to Arabia.
The Director General of Saudia Group, Ibrahim Al-Omar, commented, “Our partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority exemplifies how alignment on shared national goals can produce significant results. The increasing number of visitors illustrates the effectiveness of our collective efforts to establish Saudi Arabia as a premier global destination for tourism.”

He continued, “This advancement is supported by ongoing investment in aviation infrastructure, enhanced connectivity, and the development of meaningful travel experiences that reflect the richness of our Kingdom while adhering to the highest international standards.”
The aircraft featuring the new design will serve routes within Saudia’s international network, conveying welcoming messages as part of a comprehensive, year-round promotional strategy emphasizing the Kingdom’s burgeoning tourism sector.
Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority, stated, “We encourage travelers to enjoy flights on this special aircraft, take memorable photos, and share their experiences across social media, contributing to the Spirit of Saudi Arabia narrative and spreading the Kingdom’s warm welcome globally.”
