Aer Lingus Welcomes First Airbus A321XLR: A New Era in Transatlantic Travel
Aer Lingus, the flagship carrier of the Republic of Ireland, has officially taken delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR, marking a significant milestone in its fleet expansion. The aircraft, registered as EI-XLR and affectionately named ‘Liadháin’ (pronounced “Leah-dawn”), arrived at Dublin Airport (DUB) directly from Airbus’ final assembly plant in Hamburg, Germany. - Actual Flight Details: The aircraft finally left Hamburg on December 18, 2024, at 13:13 local time, landing in Dublin at 14:11, completing a journey of approximately two hours.

New Routes and Expansion Plans
