IndiGo Airlines is set to launch non-stop long-haul flights to Amsterdam and Manchester starting July 2025, marking a significant expansion into the European market. The airline will operate thrice-weekly services using wet-leased Boeing 787-9 aircraft from Norse Atlantic, featuring enhanced IndiGoStretch seating and standard economy options. This move is part of IndiGo’s strategy to enhance its global presence and address capacity gaps due to delays in Airbus A321 XLR deliveries. The initiative follows the airline’s recent launch of its first wide-body service on the Delhi-Bangkok route, aligning with its goal to become a significant player in international travel by 2030.
