El Al to Launch Direct Tel Aviv-Moscow Flights in May 2025
El Al Airlines will resume flights between Tel Aviv and Moscow on May 1, 2025, after deeming Russia’s airspace safe for operations. The airline, one of the few Western carriers allowed to fly to Moscow, will operate seven weekly flights from Tel Aviv to Domodedovo Airport. This decision follows a temporary suspension of operations due to safety concerns after a tragic incident involving Azerbaijan Airlines. Despite geopolitical tensions, Israel maintains cultural ties with Russia, as many Russian speakers reside there. Additionally, El Al will also restart domestic flights between Tel Aviv and Eilat on the same day.

Currently, Thai AirAsia connects Kochi to Bangkok and has expanded its presence in India with flights to various domestic and international destinations.
