JetBlue Launches New Orlando Flights to This City After 15-Year Hiatus
NEW YORK- JetBlue Airways (B6), based in New York City, has unveiled plans for a year-round nonstop service linking Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Set to begin on March 26, 2026, this new route bolsters JetBlue’s presence in Upstate New York, providing travelers with more direct access to popular destinations in Central Florida.
To mark the occasion, the airline is rolling out special introductory fares starting at just $49 one way, available only on JetBlue’s official website. The service will run five times a week, allowing Western New York residents to bask in Orlando’s sunshine and enjoy its renowned theme parks and attractions.

JetBlue’s New Nonstop Flights
This new Rochester–Orlando route emphasizes JetBlue’s ongoing commitment to Upstate New York, a region the airline has served since 2000.
By launching this service, JetBlue will now connect eight airports in the Empire State with Orlando, surpassing any other airline and solidifying its position as New York’s Hometown Airline®.
JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, Dave Jehn, highlights that this route caters to the demand for affordable, direct flights from Western New York to Florida.
“Orlando is a prime leisure destination for Upstate travelers, and this connection allows our award-winning service to reach even more people,” Jehn remarked.

Regional Growth and Accessibility
The launch also promises economic benefits for the Rochester–Finger Lakes region. U.S. Senator Charles Schumer applauded the new route, stating that enhanced connectivity between ROC and MCO will boost both local tourism and business travel.
He emphasized that additional air service options reinforce the region’s connections to key leisure and business markets throughout the United States.
JetBlue’s introduction of this route improves accessibility for smaller markets, allowing Upstate New York travelers to fly directly to major vacation hubs without needing connecting flights. The route will be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft.
This initiative aligns with JetBlue’s goal to broaden affordable and reliable travel options beyond larger metropolitan areas.

JetBlue’s Signature Passenger Experience
Travelers on this new route can anticipate JetBlue’s notable in-flight offerings, which include complimentary high-speed Fly-Fi® internet, free snacks and beverages, and seatback entertainment featuring live television at every seat.
These amenities contribute to JetBlue’s reputation for outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
To accommodate seasonal travel trends, JetBlue’s ROC to MCO flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting March 26, 2026.
