Air India Express Launches Two New International Flights to Blissful City

GURUGRAM- Air India Express (IX), recognized as India’s pioneering international low-cost airline, has broadened its network by incorporating Nagpur (NAG) into its destination roster. This expansion enhances the airline’s ongoing growth both domestically and internationally, offering increased connectivity to travelers spanning across India and the Gulf region.

Beginning in December 2025, Air India Express will unveil new routes linking Delhi (DEL) and Pune (PNQ) to Abu Dhabi (AUH), along with twice-daily flights between Nagpur and Bengaluru (BLR). This initiative is set to bolster its reach in central and southern India.

With the inclusion of Nagpur, Air India Express further enhances its strategic network growth, increasing accessibility within Maharashtra and improving travel connectivity between prominent Indian cities.

Starting December 1, 2025, the airline will operate two daily flights connecting Nagpur and Bengaluru, with optimal timings for both business and leisure travelers.

Furthermore, commencing December 2, 2025, new routes to Abu Dhabi will feature four weekly flights from Delhi and three from Pune. This expansion is designed to meet the growing demand for travel between India and the UAE.

With Nagpur now integrated, Air India Express boasts connections to 60 destinations, marking a significant step in its expansion endeavor.

Focusing on Maharashtra, the airline schedules over 130 weekly flights from Mumbai, 90 from Pune, and new operations from Navi Mumbai to major cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Strengthening Hubs and Connectivity

Bengaluru has become a vital hub for Air India Express, offering over 530 weekly flights from the city.

The newly established Nagpur–Bengaluru route complements other recently launched services to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jodhpur, and Udaipur.

Additonally, Bengaluru now has direct connections to international destinations such as Bangkok, Jeddah, Kuwait, and Riyadh, expanding the airline’s outreach beyond India.

From Delhi, Air India Express operates more than 400 weekly flights, covering 25 domestic destinations along with several international connections, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Muscat. This expansive network positions Air India Express as a significant player in India’s aviation sector.

Air India Express has introduced a revamped cabin design for its Boeing 737-8 aircraft, offering enhanced comfort through upgraded seating, wider armrests, and improved legroom, complete with in-seat USB charging.

Additionally, the interiors now feature ovens for serving hot ‘Gourmair’ meals and advanced Boeing Sky Interior lighting, crafting a warm and modern atmosphere during flights.

The airline’s new promotion, “Xplore More, Xpress More,” encourages travelers to discover new experiences while celebrating India’s cultural richness through its ‘Tales of India’ initiative, showcasing over 50 regional art forms on aircraft tail designs.
